Small Group Teaching from August
From August we are going to alter the way we organise small group teaching sessions for trainees on our training programme. We are going to split into three groups:
Trainees in their first GP post - will meet on a Tuesday afternoon at Pinderfields where the focus of the sessions will be on consultation skill development.
Trainees in ST3 - will meet on a Tuesday afternoon (probably at DDH Medical Education Centre) where the focus of the sessions will be on CSA preparation
Trainees in hospital posts - will meet every other Thursday for the whole day at Drighlington (food, parking and close to Leeds!) where the focus of the sessions will be on covering the GP curriculum. You will be allocated to either group A or group B. We plan to duplicate the programme but you need to apply for study leave NOW. We hope that these changes will mean that attendance at the small group teaching sessions will be increased
